Hanna Instruments HI-3827 Boiler and Feedwater Combination Test Kit — 6 Parameters
The Hanna Instruments HI-3827 is a comprehensive boiler and feedwater chemical test kit measuring six critical parameters: alkalinity, chloride, hardness, pH, phosphate and sulphite. Monitoring these parameters is essential in preventing corrosion, scaling and other hazardous or costly situations in boiler and feedwater systems. Carbonates and chlorides determine the corrosive characteristics of water, while sulphite is critical in preventing pitting and oxidation of metal components — a high sulphite level lowers pH, which can further promote corrosion.
All tests are performed using titration methods with the exception of pH, which is measured using Hanna's pHep® electronic pH tester for greater accuracy and longer life than traditional litmus paper. The kit contains all necessary reagents and equipment to perform over 100 tests for each parameter (50 tests for phosphate), with clear step-by-step instructions included. Everything is housed in a rugged portable carrying case measuring 440 x 330 x 100mm for orderly transportation and field use. Replacement reagents are available separately for each parameter.
