Ammonia Checker High Range 0.0 to 99.9 ppm
Hanna Instruments HI-733 Ammonia High Range Checker®HC Colorimeter (0.0 to 99.9 ppm)
The Hanna Instruments HI-733 is a simple, accurate and cost-effective handheld colorimeter for measuring high ranges of ammonia in fresh water across a range of 0.0 to 99.9 ppm. Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI-733 delivers quick, reliable results in four easy steps and is dedicated to a single parameter for straightforward operation. Its palm-sized design makes it ideal for use in the field, laboratory or at the aquarium.
The HI-733 uses an adaptation of the ASTM Manual of Water and Environmental Technology D1426-92, Nessler Method. The reaction between ammonia and reagents produces a yellow tint in the sample which the Checker®HC measures and displays as a digital ppm value. The unit is supplied with two cuvettes and caps, a 10-test ammonia HR reagent starter kit, syringe with tip, plastic pipette, battery, instruction manual and quick start guide. Additional reagents (HI-733-25, 25 tests) and the calibration check set (HI-733-11) are available separately. Please download and read the relevant Safety Data Sheet before handling reagents.
